About Me
I’m a writer, improv teacher, and communications consultant. Whether it’s authoring my own articles and personal essays, helping a client refine their written words, or leading people in experiencing the magic of improv, I love the discovery process inherent in each.
I was a communications jack-of-many-trades for 3+ years at CNA Corporation, a national security research organization. Some of my favorite wins at CNA include getting expert quotes placed in media outlets such as Politico and USNI News, editing op-eds for external publication, and helping researchers improve their public speaking skills. Before CNA, I worked for the Office of Foreign Assistance (F) at the U.S. Department of State and DAI.
I received my MA in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University and my BA in Politics from Occidental College. I love coffee, the Oxford comma, and pictures of my friends’ many dogs and kids.
Need help with the words? I’ve got your back.*
Maybe you need someone to write a few case studies for your organization’s website. Or perhaps you’re writing a personal statement that needs editing. Or something else! Shoot me an email to find out how I can help.
*before an improv show, performers traditionally say this phrase to each other. It means that we’ll support each other in doing our best together. Aww.
